The Plant of Pretensioned Prestressed Concrete Sleepers „STRUNBET” in Bogumiłowice came into being in 1957 and in the course of 50 years of its existence has changed its organizational and legislative form four times depending on proprietorial structures of the Company. For the half of 2004 the Plant has been part of the Leonhard Moll Betonwerke GmbH & Co. KG Group with premises in Munich. Three Plants of pretensioned prestressed concrete sleepers and switch sleepers in Germany are part of the LM Group. From the beginning of the business activity the Plant has produced and still produces high quality pretensioned prestressed concrete sleepers introducing into its assortment more and more innovative solutions which kept pace with constantly rising standards of the railway market with reference to increased speed of railway vehicles, augmented load with simultaneous assurance of safety standards. The Company STRUNBET with the Leonhard Moll Companies Group offer its customers the experience, the highest quality, the innovativeness and the safety of its products by applying the new know-how and also new and tested technologies.


Currently the STRUNBET offers 19 types of

• pretensioned prestressed concrete sleepers,
• including the sleeper of PS94 type adapted to high speed lines,
• the brigde sleeper PS94M,
• the light sleeper PS83/SB and PS83/K,
• prestressed concrete switch sleepers,
• the level crossing slabs of the CBP type,
• the drainage channels,
• the overhead crane sleepers and the longitudinal sleepers built up according to the technology so called „green railwaytrack”.

Leonhard Moll and STRUNBET is equivalent to the experience in the production of 20 millions of pretensioned prestressed concrete sleepers exploited in seven countries all over the world on three continents.
