Since 1989 UTEX have been dealing with Polish public power industry in the range of reception and utilization of combustion wastes (Combustion By-products) such as:

• fly-ash
• bottom ash
• desulphurization products

Utex services cover the reception of all furnace of all waste materials produced in power plants or thermal-electric power station, specialistic transport to places of their utilization in company’s own capacity or with the help of cooperating companies.

The main directions of by-products utilization:

• filling the empty spaces in coal mines,
• production of cement
• production of road foundations
• reclamation of past industry areas

UTEX company collects about 2 million tons of combustion by-products annually. Such amount of material to receive and utilize forces to efficient operation of the company, especially that the ash storage capacity is limited to only 2 days. One of the main UTEX attributes is the logistics service, that disposes of suitable numbers of wagons (300) and cars to transport the waste materials. Total load capacity of the wagon is 10 000 tons. Running repairs and periodical surveys are being made by own repair workshop.

Besides, UTEX invest in the construction of modern installations to utilize ash in the coal mines, make us be able to collect the waste materials even in winter, when the other branches of ash utilization industry can take only small amount of ash. Installations of that type can take even 1000 tons wastes daily.
