Przedsiębiorstwo Wielobranżowe Unitor s.c. was founded in 1993. Since that time we have completed a number of different projects in the broadly-defined rail transport of goods.


Our standing offer covers:

• shunting equipment – railroad car pullers,
• track work: construction, repair and dismantling,
• regular maintenance of railway sidings.

The purpose of railroad car pullers, also referred to as shunting devices, is to move railway cars (wagons) without the use of a locomotive or shunter. Each unit is custom designed. Depending on technical assumptions (such as shunting speed, pulled weight, rail system etc.) we apply different solutions. Our equipment meets the requirements of the Transportation Technical Supervision who are the only authority in Poland to approve railroad car pullers for use. In 2005 we were awarded the following certificates from the Transportation Technical Supervision (TDT): Certificate of compliance with PN-EN ISO 3834-2, Certificate of compliance with PN-EN ISO 9001.


We specialize in railroad car pullers. For example, UT-3 towing carriages are used for moving trains with the total weight of up to 3,000 t.
