Przedsiębiorstwo Transportu Kolejowego Holding S.A. (Entertainment of Railway Transport Holding Joint Stock Company) is one of the most rapidly developing railway private operators in Poland acting on market since 1953. The company offers a wide range of services to the customers, a range which covers railway transport of cargo, integrated operation of railway sidings, maintenance and repairs of rolling stock, track systems, railway infrastructure and earthworks as well as container transport.

The company renders cargo transport services home and abroad. Within transport operations the company deals also with organization of transport and forwarding. It posseses 100 electric and diesel locomotives and over 2500 wagons, such as:

PTK offers railway transport of all groups of cargo.Transport is provided on the basis of a licence to carry out transport of goods no. WPR/021/2003 issued by the President of the Railway Transport Office.

PTK runs its own rolling stock repair shops located in Pyskowice, Ruda Śląska and Dąbrowa Górnicza. The shops repairs the rolling stock owned by the company and also render services for external customers. The service of freight wagons includes first and foremost routine repair works including revisions and general overhauls of wagons, running repairs, modernization of wagons and rebuilding of wagons.

In 2007 PTK Holding S.A. built and became an operator of a modern and perfectly located container terminal of the surface of 30 000 m2 and the capacity of 1 700 TUE. Being a co-owner of Port Handlowy Świnoujscie Sp. z o.o. the company is able to provide compete services covering transport and handling in the harbour.
