The Sand Mine „Kotlarnia” S.A. started functioning in 1968.

Its principal range of operation includes the following:

• production of mineral aggregates,
• railway transport,
• economic disposal of waste.

The aggregates production plant is located on the border between the Śląskie Region and Opole Region, along the road that connects Gliwice and Kędzierzyn-Koźle. The production of high-quality, refined aggregates is possible thanks to two state-of-the-art technological arteries.

The Mine’s products are used for:

• concrete over BK 20,
• concrete products,
• large-dimensional prefabricated elements,
• construction and repair of roads.

Last year we started production of dried sand that is used in repair- construction works, the production of building and abrasive materials, building chemistry, and founding as moulding sand of 3K category.

The Company holds a licence no. WPR/015/2003 that authorizes it to carry out railway transport of goods, and provides railway transport services employing its own rolling stock.

The Sand Mine „Kotlarnia” S.A. offers services in the scope of economic disposal of post-mining and building waste in the dump that is regulated by law, features high capacity as well as specialized equipment and well-qualified staff.

In 2005 the Mine introduced the plant production control and obtained the Plant Production Control Certificate CE 1454-CPD-042 in the field of production of aggregates.
