GORZÓW WAGONY Sp. z o.o. is the entity of commercial law acting from October 1st, 2001 on the power of the act on commercialization, restructuring and privatization of Przedsiębiorstwo Państwowe PKP from September 8th, 2000.

GORZÓW WAGONY Sp. z o.o. derives from Wagonownia Gorzów and subsequent Zakład Taboru in Gorzów Wielkopolski, and it was established on the basis of Dział Napraw Rewizyjnych Wagonów (Carriage Revision Repairs Department) in Gorzów Wielkopolski. The employees of the Company have longterm experience in carrying out revision repairs of freight and passengers’ trains as well as in modernization and current repairs. We are able to carry out the revision repairs of all the types of carriages. In terms of broadening our activity we possess the authorizations for the repairs of tank wagons and wagons intended for transportation of loose materials unloaded under the pressure.

Apart from revision repairs, we also carry out main repairs, modernizations and developments of freight wagons, and in case it is necessary, also the emergency and current repairs.

The last ones we provide also beyond the company head Office. We introduced and apply the integrated management system according to PN-EN ISO 9001:2001, PN-EN-729-2:1997 and PN-N-18001:2004.

We provide services in terms of:

• periodical repairs of freight wagons of all types
• repairs of tank wagons chassis together with shot-peening and painting of the bodywork
• current, emergency repairs as well as wagons’ periodical checks
• repairs and regenerations of wagon sub-assemblies
• tyring, reprofilation and wheel sets balancing
